Getting started
Pick a rule set on the home screen — Quatorze (14), Kunkan, or Custom — then choose Play Solo, Pass & Play, or Play Online. Tap the ? in a game at any time for a walkthrough of the rules.
Common questions
- Why won't it let me discard a card? If that card belongs on a meld already on the table, you have to play it there instead of throwing it away. If every card in your hand fits somewhere, lay them all off — that's you going out and winning the round.
- Why can't I open? Your first melds have to add up to the opening minimum (51 in Quatorze, 50 in Kunkan). In Kunkan, that first meld also has to use the card the previous player discarded.
- Why is a joker stuck in my hand? Jokers can never be discarded. Use it in a meld, or if you just pulled it back off the table, drag it onto the discard pile to undo the swap.
- Can I play in portrait? Games run in landscape by default. Turn on Settings ▸ Orientation ▸ Allow vertical play if you'd rather hold the phone upright.
- The suits look too similar. Turn on Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Four-colour suits to give diamonds and clubs their own colours.
- Can I change the rules? Yes — choose Custom in Settings ▸ Rules and set the opening minimum, ace value, joker count, scoring, and match length.
Reporting a bug
Please include your device (e.g. iPhone 15), your iOS version, which rule set you were playing, and what happened just before it went wrong. A screenshot helps enormously.
